About Amante Brew Company
Founded in 2011 by Héctor Corella and Carlos, Amante Brew Company isn't just a brewery — it's a symbol of resistance and passion. Through public campaigns and lobbying of state and municipal legislators, its founders got Baja California to lift the restrictions on producing and selling craft beer, making Amante the first officially licensed craft brewery in Mexico. Their fight opened the door for the entire craft beer industry in the state. Today the taproom pours over 19 craft options you can enjoy on site or take home in a growler or bottle, with more than 50 recipes developed and an annual production around 230,000 liters across 20 taps. Every beer is named after an iconic woman from history and pop culture. Pizza and beer in perfect harmony.

⭐ Flagship beers
Session IPA · 4.5% ABV. Inspired by Frida Kahlo. Light and medium-bodied, ideal with fresh fish and seafood. Considered one of the best IPAs in Mexicali.
Rye IPA · 6.5% ABV. Inspired by Queen Elizabeth. Rye adds great body, with grapefruit, tangerine and a touch of apricot.
Foreign Extra Stout · 7.0% ABV. Intense coffee, chocolate and piloncillo. Silver medal at Copa Cerveza México 2016.
English Porter · 5.5% ABV. Classic full-bodied English porter with intense roasted flavors.

IPA · 6.2% ABV. Great malt body with citrus-peel flavor and aroma and a balanced bitterness.
Old Ale · 7.5% ABV. Inspired by Rita Hayworth. Full-bodied, with malt and date-honey flavors and aromas.
Belgian Strong Golden Ale · 8.0% ABV. Pale beer with spicy notes, balancing malt, hops and Belgian yeast.
Hoppy Wheat · 5.0% ABV. Inspired by Ava Gardner. Refreshing wheat beer, hazy with citrus and floral aromas. Bronze at Copa Cerveza México 2016.
🎨 Special & experimental
Specialty Beer · 5.5% ABV. A special brew inspired by pop culture. One of the most popular experimentals.
Golden Ale · 5.0% ABV. Bright golden, refreshing and perfect for the heat.
Chocolate Stout · 6.0% ABV. A chocolate stout that tastes like dessert in liquid form.
