🇺🇸 Coming from (or going to) the United States?

Greyhound and FlixBus do NOT depart from this station: they leave from Calexico, on the US side (123 E 1st Street, steps away from the downtown border crossing), with ~2 daily runs to Los Angeles from ~$43 USD (~4 h 50 min).

The typical plan: walk across the border and catch your bus on whichever side you need. Here we explain both crossings and their live wait times: Mexicali-Calexico border crossings guide

How to get to the station

From the downtown border crossing

About 10 minutes by car or taxi (≈3 km via Calzada López Mateos / Independencia). Several urban bus routes also reach the Centro Cívico.

From the airport (MXL)

About 25-35 minutes by taxi or Uber (≈20 km). There is no direct airport-station shuttle; a taxi is the practical option.

Within the city

The Centro Cívico is a landmark every taxi or Uber driver knows: ask for "la central camionera".
