About Cervecería Urbana

Cervecería Urbana was born from the passion of two brothers: Armando Reneaum started brewing homemade beer in San Diego, cooking in his pots and fermenting in his closet, until he shared his creation with his brother Alejandro and together they turned that hobby into one of Mexico's most awarded brewing projects. Their goal was always to craft an elixir for those parched by Mexicali's extreme heat, which is why they specialized in India Pale Ales: hoppy, refreshing beers perfect for battling 50°C temperatures. In 2016, Copa Cerveza MX named them Best Large Brewery in Mexico, with 4 gold medals in a single edition. Today they run a Beer Garden with ambient flora and lighting —one of the most beautiful open-air spaces in the city— with 11 taps, 7-8 house beers on tap, and guest beers from Cervecería Juguete.
