What to order at Alta Gracia
The bar is split between coffee and matcha. On the coffee side, the most ordered are the Honey Oat Latte and the Maple & Salt Latte (16 oz, $105); among the signature drinks are the Chai Intencionado and the Mexican Chocolate ($95). On the matcha side there is hot ceremonial matcha ($105) and a lineup of iced matcha lattes —strawberry, lavender, coconut and banana, $135— plus the amaretto-lavender and tiramisu lattes that reviewers mention again and again. If you watch your sugar, they carry sugar-free syrups.
To eat there are bagels —cream cheese, ham or chicken, from $96 to $189—, a ham and manchego croissant ($149), brownies and a rotating pastry case: the carrot loaf and the strudel are the most mentioned. Croissant or bagel combos with coffee run $195 to $225.
