Café Histórico
Coffee, culture and community in the Historic Downtown
About Café Histórico
Café Histórico is a cultural space and coffee shop in the heart of Mexicali's Historic Downtown. More than a coffee shop, it is a meeting point for artists, creatives and good-coffee lovers, and an active part of the cultural revival of the city center. The concept was born from the need to create a space where culture and coffee come together: with rotating local art exhibitions, frequent cultural events and a vibrant atmosphere, it has become a landmark of Mexicali's art scene. Its menu features specialty coffee brewed with artisanal methods like Chemex and cold brew, plus light options such as gourmet sandwiches, wraps, salads and homemade desserts, in a space decorated with local art that is cozy for both working and socializing.
