About KUA Coffee Studio
KUA Coffee Studio is one of Mexicali's newest coffee shops: its first Google reviews date from late August 2026, and it already has 5 stars from 12 reviews. It is in suite 8 of Plaza Verona, on Calle Novena, in Residencial Verona.
The space has high ceilings and exposed concrete, grey block walls, gold sputnik-style lamps, a cement bar and a floor-to-ceiling window that fills the room with light. Tables are round and dark, with upholstered chairs. The logo, a black «KUA» in curved lettering, is printed on every cup. Reviewers describe it as a «very calm» place with fast, friendly service.
What to order at KUA
The menu is short and split into four parts. Under coffee, from espresso ($55 MXN) to cold brew ($85) and flavored lattes: iced caramel, maple and salt and cinnamon roll, plus the Biscoff latte ($115), the only item starred on their menu and the one that keeps showing up in photos, with a whole Lotus cookie on top. There is a tonics section — espresso with tonic water, sunset coffee and cranberry coffee tonic —, another for matcha and chai (matcha latte, dirty matcha, matcha horchata, matcha coconut, chai and dirty chai) and hot chocolate, plain or with espresso.
On the side there is bread, brownies and cookies, and one customer devoted his review to the corn bread (pan de elote): «out of this world».
Good to know
It is closed on Saturdays, and on Fridays it closes early, at 7:30 PM. Prices on this page come from their printed menu, photographed by a customer in early September 2026, and may have changed. Credit and debit cards are accepted.

What to know before you go
Closed on Saturdays
Open Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Closed on Saturdays.
Order the Biscoff latte
It is the only starred item on their menu and the one that appears most in customers' photos, with a whole Lotus cookie on top.
Don't leave without the corn bread
One customer came for a chai and ended up writing his review about the pan de elote. There are also brownies and cookies.
