NOKO artisan coffee bar
The monkey's coffee bar: signature drinks with a Japanese soul
About NOKO artisan coffee bar
NOKO artisan coffee bar is a small, carefully made specialty coffee shop in the Independencia neighborhood, easy to spot by its emblem: a monkey drawn like a Japanese seal, printed in red and black on its cups. Inside, the space is warm and minimalist —sand-textured walls, light wood tables, white chairs and a bar where you can watch the espresso being pulled—, just small enough to feel intimate. What sets it apart are its signature drinks: the Kanizara is the name customers repeat the most, and the Mono Tití —fresh, with a gentle citrus note— is the other favorite, alongside the pistachio latte, made with real pistachio pieces. Add pastries and the occasional event and you get a place with a character of its own. It is one of the recent discoveries of Mexicali's coffee scene: small, well made and full of personality.
