About Noon Café
Noon Café is Mexicali's alien-themed coffee shop: specialty coffee and matcha in a UFO-styled space that takes its "out of this world coffee" motto seriously — an atmosphere that, as visitors put it, disconnects you from the noise and beams you to another planet for a while. The terracotta brick facade with cacti and agaves hides a very photogenic terrace in the heart of Col. Independencia, the city's coffee corridor. The bar covers brew methods (V60, cold brew) and seasonal signature drinks: banana latte with coconut cold foam, mango matcha, pistachio matcha or oat milk mocha. It is also one of the few specialty shops opening at 6:30 AM on weekdays, and you can call ahead for pickup. On social media it gathers 10/10 mini-reviews from visitors.
