Generación R brings together four former lead singers of Banda El Recodo — Carlos Sarabia, Alex Ojeda, Charly Pérez and Alex Villarreal — on one stage, under the "Entre Amigos de Parranda" (Among Party Friends) concept. The format is an old-school banda dance: the hits each of them recorded with "the mother of all bandas," now sung among friends with a dance floor open all night.
The project kicked off its 2026 tour at the Spring Fair in Jerez, Zacatecas, and also brings new material: their first original single, "Solo Gracias a Ti," marks the quartet's new chapter. The Mexicali stop is at Centro de Espectáculos RG (the former Rancho Grande), a venue built exactly for this kind of dance.
