No-C turns 30 and is marking it with six hours of open-air rock at the Bosque de la Ciudad: Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM. This is not a tour date or an out-of-town act passing through — it is the covers band that has spent three decades playing Mexicali bars throwing its own party in a city park.
The band was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, but Mexicali ended up being home — Little Rock, the Irish Pub, the Bosque de la Ciudad. Their own anniversary count adds up: they celebrated 20 years in 2016, 22 in 2018 and now 30, which puts the start at 1996. Along the way they have shared stages with Jaguares, Miguel Mateos, La Lupita, Jumbo and Maná, and in 2019 they handled the Led Zeppelin tribute at the British Rock Fest that IMACUM staged in this very park.
What they play is covers, but with unusual range: their live recordings include Metallica and System of a Down alongside Earth, Wind & Fire, Bob Marley, Maná and Eros Ramazzotti. It is billed as a "festival" and runs six hours, though neither Ticketnauta nor the official poster has announced guest bands: for now, theirs is the only confirmed name.

The Bosque y Zoológico de la Ciudad is Mexicali's big park, on Calle Alvarado in the Nueva Esperanza neighbourhood, and this is not the first time a stage has gone up here: the British Rock Fest was held here in 2019. It is open-air, and September nights in Mexicali are still hot, so dress light and bring water. There is parking, but for a six-hour event it pays to arrive early.
