It had been more than 2 years since I came for menudo and the changes surprised me: now you sign up so they can seat people by area as tables free up. Given how many people were there I thought we would wait a long time, but it was under 10 minutes. The menudo still tastes very good and the portion is generous.
Their specialty is menudo or pancita, generously served and very reasonably priced. The beef tamal was a bit soggy but tasty; the quesadilla and the beans were very good. It is inside the Wild West museum, so it doubles as an outing: they have a farm, birds and more activities. On a weekday it was not busy, but they say there is a waiting list on weekends.
The cowboy place with the antiques is cool, but honestly my family and I did not like the food. The corn tamal was very dry, the menudo so-so and the beef tamal was good. On top of that the service was poor. Bad experience, but to each their own.
