About Cerveza Fauna
Cerveza Fauna is a family microbrewery founded in 2011 by brothers Luis and Alejandro Larios Rizo in Mexicali, Baja California. They started homebrewing and have been producing professionally since 2014. Their philosophy is to craft beers for an adventurous, curious crowd, with products that are inclusive rather than exclusive. Twice named Best Large Brewery in Mexico (Copa Cerveza MX 2017 and 2018), Fauna has also collected medals at Cerveza México 2021. Their Mexicali Tasting Room pairs fresh beer with Chicago-style deep dish pizza, a terrace and live music, and growlers to take fresh beer home.

🍺 Core beers
American IPA · 6.5% ABV. Fauna's flagship beer. Light body with an intense citrus aroma (grapefruit, citrus, pine resin).
New England IPA · 7% ABV. Hazy, silky NEIPA with an explosion of tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit). Very popular.
Coffee Porter · 5.5% ABV. Robust Porter with coffee additions. Deep black color, dry finish (coffee, chocolate, roasted malts).
Imperial Stout · 8.5% ABV. Award-winning Imperial Stout with a coffee aroma and bitter chocolate flavor.
✨ Special editions
Double IPA · 9% ABV. The double version of Lycan Lupus, brewed for the 8th anniversary. Dialed up across the board.
Oak-aged Russian Imperial Stout · 10% ABV. Oak-barrel aged, a more intense version of Nox Arcana (chocolate, coconut, sherry, coffee).
Spice Beer · 5.5% ABV. Stout brewed with jalapeño. Gold medal winner at Cerveza México 2021 (jalapeño, chocolate, spicy).
