Backroom Cafetería

Backroom is the experience-café of Centro Cívico: an immersive space of rough stone walls, a pink-tiled bar and a dripping red logo that greets you like a movie poster. The theme is not just decor: the whole menu pays homage to horror cinema and literature — Kubrik and Stoker bagels, Craven, Wan and Stephen sandwiches, and a cold brew called Redrum, straight out of The Shining. The bar covers it all: signature espressos (crème brûlée, coconut café), a matcha line (lavender, banana, coconut), espresso or matcha tonics with yuzu and passion fruit, hibiscus and lavender refreshers, plus a traditional bar from $80 MXN. Running for over 5 years with a 4.5 rating, it took part in Baja Coffee Fest 2026 and opens Monday through Saturday, staying open until 9 PM on Saturdays; it is closed on Sundays. Order via DiDi or come live the concept in person, which is the whole point.
