Moy Bobadilla plays the Palenque del FEX on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 7:00 PM, and he gets an odd night in Mexicali: a few meters away, at Isla de las Estrellas on the same fairgrounds, Ramón Ayala is playing one of the dates of his farewell tour. Same grounds, same night — one stage closing out sixty years of career, the other hosting someone who went solo two years ago.
Because that is Moy's story: he released "Corazón", his first single, in 2024, and by 2026 he is one of the most in-demand names in regional Mexican music. He is from Santa María de los Ángeles, Jalisco, born in 2001, and before signing as a soloist he made his name as the vocalist of Alex Ojeda's Banda Sinaloense. His rise came through Eduin Caz — the Grupo Firme frontman he calls his godfather — and the Music VIP Entertainment label. At this year's Jornadas Villistas in Chihuahua he was the highest-paid act on the bill.
What most people have heard from him so far are live takes on regional Mexican standards: the albums "Arriba la Moyombiza" (2025, cut with Grupo Firme, Hernán Sepúlveda and Max Peraza) and its 2026 sequel are built that way. But in August he announced he is closing that chapter — "today I close one cycle to open the door to new dreams", he said — and that original material written with Joss Favela and Luis Mexia is coming. Mexicali may well hear something new.
Tickets are on sale through Ticketnauta in three tiers: BRONCE $500, PLATA $1,000 and ORO $2,000 MXN. Those are box-office prices paid in cash — Ticketnauta says so itself. Buying online adds a service cost and a transaction fee, bringing the totals to the figures in the table. Buy only through official channels.

Buy tickets on Ticketnauta⚠️ A caveat on this list: most of these are COVERS of regional Mexican standards that he popularised in his live sets, not his own compositions. His own are "Corazón" (his debut) and "Somos Como El Viento". These are his most-streamed tracks; no setlist has been published for Mexicali.
A palenque puts the stage at the center of the ring with the audience all around it, split across the tiers: there is barely a "back row", though the view changes quite a bit depending on your section. It sits inside the FEX fairgrounds, on Río Nuevo, minutes from the Centro Cívico. It is a Friday night and there is a second concert on the same grounds that evening at Isla de las Estrellas, so allow extra time to park and to get through the entrance line.
